Meet the team
Meet Lauren
BSc (Hons) Sports Therapist | Founder of Paya Sports Therapy
Hi, I’m Lauren, the founder of Paya Sports Therapy.
I’m a qualified Sports Therapist with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy, graduating in 2019, and have over 8 years of experience working with clients from all backgrounds — from everyday aches and pains to athletes competing at a high level.
Alongside Paya Sports Therapy, I work as Head of Medical at Aylesbury Rugby Club and Head of Medical for Norway’s International Women’s Rugby 7s team, giving me extensive experience working within competitive sport and managing a wide range of sporting injuries.
My approach is simple: treat the person, not just the injury. Every client is different, which is why I take the time to understand what is causing your problem and create a treatment and rehabilitation plan that is tailored specifically to you.
At Paya Sports Therapy, treatments can include sports and deep tissue massage, shockwave therapy, mobilisations, cupping, KT taping and personalised rehabilitation programmes.
Whether you’re an athlete looking to return to sport, recovering from an injury, or simply struggling with everyday aches and tightness, my goal is to help you move better, feel better and get back to doing what you love.
Your body. Your goals. Your treatment plan.

My Approach
My biggest goal and passion as a therapist is helping clients get back to what they love doing.
Whether that means returning to sport, getting back to your favourite hobbies, or simply reducing pain and making everyday activities easier, I’m passionate about supporting every client throughout their journey.
I believe that treatment and rehabilitation should be individualised to you, which is why I work with each client to create a plan that best suits their needs, goals and lifestyle.
For me, seeing someone regain their confidence, independence and enjoyment in the things they love is one of the most rewarding parts of being a Sports Therapist.
I’m super excited to become part of the PAYA Sports Therapy team and can’t wait to meet all my new clients! 🤍
Meet Holly
Hi, I’m Holly, a qualified Sports Therapist and Massage Therapist with a passion for helping people feel better, move better, and get back to doing the things they love.
Since graduating from the University of Worcester in 2025, I have gained experience working with a variety of rugby teams, including Aylesbury Rugby and Buckinghamshire County, supporting both male and female athletes. This has allowed me to develop my skills in injury management, rehabilitation, recovery, and performance.
Alongside Sports Therapy, I specialise in sports and deep tissue massage, with a particular interest in rehabilitation, movement, and managing muscular tension. I also work as an Ambulance Care Assistant, which has strengthened my experience in person-centred care and working with people with a wide range of needs.
I believe no two people or treatment journeys are the same. My approach is therefore tailored to you, your lifestyle, and your goals — whether you’re recovering from an injury, returning to sport, looking to improve your movement, or simply wanting to feel your best.
My aim is to support you throughout your journey and help you get back to doing what you love.

Luke
I had a great experience shadowing Lauren during my work experience. She was welcoming, professional and extremely knowledgeable, always taking the time to explain assessments, treatments and rehabilitation exercises. She made me feel comfortable asking questions and gave me a valuable insight into the role of a physiotherapist. Her passion for helping players and adapting treatment to their individual needs was clear throughout my placement. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, knowledgeable and professional Sports Therapist
